Benning IT Pty Ltd (ABN 47 098 243 273) (“Benning IT”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Who this policy applies to

Our services are directed to businesses in Australia. We do not offer our services to, or monitor the behaviour of, individuals in the European Union or United Kingdom.

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you choose to give us:

• your name and email address (required)
• your company name and phone number (optional)
• the area you’re interested in and any message you write

To protect the form from spam and abuse, your IP address and basic browser signals are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit it.

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver and secure the site.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies.

Why we collect it

We use your contact details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to engage us, to manage that business relationship. We do not sell your information, use it for unrelated marketing, or add you to a mailing list without your consent.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. Some of them are located, or store data, outside Australia:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States, global network) — website hosting, security and the Turnstile anti-spam check.
• Formspree, Inc. (United States) — receives contact form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
• Google LLC (United States) — serves the website’s fonts; your browser’s IP address is visible to Google when fonts load.
• Unsplash (Canada / global CDN) — serves some images on the site; your browser’s IP address is visible when images load.

We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle personal information consistently with the APPs. We will not otherwise disclose your personal information unless you consent or we are required or authorised by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting engagement. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to enquiries, and security controls on our systems and providers.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@benning.au. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us at privacy@benning.au and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
