Specialties

The deep end. Our home turf.

Most IT providers stop at the help desk. These are the areas where we go much further: the internet plumbing, architecture and access controls that most businesses never see, until they break.

All things DNS & DNSSEC

High-volume authoritative DNS · DNSSEC · SPF, DKIM & DMARC

Every visit to your website, every email and every app connection starts with a DNS lookup. We design, build and operate authoritative DNS platforms that answer those lookups at scale: millions of queries, served quickly and reliably from multiple locations, and able to keep answering through traffic spikes and attacks.

What we do

  • High-volume authoritative DNS built for scale, low latency and redundancy
  • Anycast name server deployments that absorb DDoS attacks and keep resolving
  • DNSSEC signing and automated key rollovers, with no gaps in the chain of trust
  • Zero-downtime migrations between DNS providers and platforms
  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to stop spoofing of your domain

Why it matters

When DNS fails, everything fails with it, all at once. A platform that is engineered for volume and protected by DNSSEC keeps your services reachable and makes sure your customers land where you intended.

BGP & Anycast

Multi-homing · ASN & IP space · RPKI · Anycast service delivery

BGP is the routing protocol that holds the internet together. Get it right and your services stay reachable when a link or a provider fails. Anycast takes this further, serving the same address from several locations at once so users reach the nearest healthy one.

What we do

  • Multi-homed internet with automatic failover across providers
  • Obtaining and managing your own ASN and IP addresses through APNIC
  • RPKI route origin validation to protect your addresses from hijacking
  • Anycast design for DNS, edge and other high-availability services

Why it matters

If one cable cut or carrier fault can take you offline, you have a single point of failure. We remove it.

Cloud-Native Transformation

Application modernisation · Infrastructure as Code · Serverless & containers

Moving servers into the cloud unchanged (“lift and shift”) often costs more and fixes nothing. Cloud-native means rebuilding how your systems run so they scale automatically, recover on their own and cost you only for what you use.

What we do

  • Assessment and roadmap: what to move, rebuild, replace or retire
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, so every environment is repeatable
  • Serverless, container and edge platforms on AWS, Azure and Cloudflare
  • Automated build and deployment pipelines

Why it matters

You get systems that are cheaper to run, easier to secure and no longer depend on one server in a cupboard, or one person who knows how it works.

Immutable Design

Immutable infrastructure · Golden images · Rebuild, don’t repair

Traditional servers are patched and tweaked by hand until no one is sure exactly how they are configured. Immutable systems are never changed once running. To update one, you build a new version from a known-good definition and replace the old one.

What we do

  • Hardened, versioned base images for servers and workloads
  • Automated rebuild and replace in place of manual patching
  • Removing standing admin access to production systems
  • Fast, tested recovery: rebuild from code, restore the data

Why it matters

Nothing drifts and attackers have nowhere to hide. Every system matches what was approved, and recovery after an incident takes minutes, not weeks.

Secure Access Workstations

Privileged Access Workstations (PAW) · Secure admin workstations

The accounts that run your IT are the ones attackers want most. If an administrator checks email and browses the web on the same machine they use to manage your systems, one bad click can hand over everything. A secure access workstation is a locked-down device used only for administration.

What we do

  • Design and build of hardened admin workstations
  • Separating admin accounts from everyday accounts
  • Tiered access so a compromised laptop cannot reach critical systems
  • Alignment with the Essential Eight “restrict administrative privileges” control

Why it matters

Most serious breaches go through a privileged account. Protecting those accounts is one of the best security investments you can make.

YubiKey Deployments

Phishing-resistant MFA · FIDO2 & passkeys · Smart card sign-in

Text-message codes and authenticator app prompts can be phished or approved by mistake. Hardware security keys like the YubiKey cannot: they check they are talking to the real site before they respond. The Essential Eight now expects phishing-resistant MFA at higher maturity levels.

What we do

  • Rollout planning, enrolment and staff onboarding
  • Integration with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and other identity providers
  • Smart card (PIV) sign-in for Windows and admin workstations
  • Lost-key, backup-key and offboarding processes that actually work

Why it matters

Stolen passwords and MFA fatigue cause a large share of breaches. Hardware keys shut down that whole category of attack.
